Be sure to rinse the pump out thoroughly after each use. Pumps are not warrantied due to bleach use, but if you care for them properly and maintain them, they should last awhile. Compressor should not be run over 90-100PSI.

The Roof king 1 Soft Wash System is a great space-saver for truck and trailer rigs.

Mix settings on the white Pentair or GF  Mixing Valves: When the water dial is full open and the bleach dial full open, you are using a 50/50 mix. Always use the Valves with the water full open. You want to get full flow of water at all times. The only time you adjust the water down, is if you need a stronger mix than 50/50.

To adjust my bleach %, I always go by the numbers of 1=10%, 2=20%, 3=30%-etc. While this may not be exact on the number % you are getting, it is a guide that I follow. For GF Valves just know that water on full and bleach on full is a 50/50 mix. Adjust your bleach valve 1/4 turn and you’ll be at about 30% mix. Adjust as needed to get a stronger or lighter mix.

You really have to play around with the settings to get them to the desired mix you like for various surfaces that you will clean. Porous, really dirty surfaces like roofs, stucco, brick, etc will require a stronger mix, like 30%-50%, while smooth surfaces like vinyl, hardie, metal, etc., will require lighter mixes, like 10%-20%. Again, you just have to play around with it as you use it to figure out what settings work for you. The type of surface you are cleaning and the degree of staining will determine the mix percentage you will use. Green Algae comes off easy and requires a lower percentage. Black mildew stains require stronger percentage.

For the surfactant setting, the smaller diameter hose you use, the better. I’ve never needed to put my soap dial on more than 2. Using too much soap can cause longer rinsing time. It can also cause longer cleaning times. I suggest you use 1/4″ or 3/8″ hose for your surfactant tank. Presently I do not use the surfactant valve on my Roof King 1. I add my surfactant to my bleach. My surfactant valve is capped off and is ready to use as a spare should one of the metering or check valves fail. It is also available to use to apply some other type of chemical like a degreaser or a liquid plant food if needed. We use it mostly for applying our degreaser to gutters for gutter brightening or to surfaces for removing and restoring Oxidation.

When using air systems!

#1 Drain ur air tank of water before each job!
#2 If ur pump Stalls (stops for a few seconds and starts again) it’s because u have moisture or water in your air
#3 that’s why the Roof Clean 12 is nice. It’s twin pump so Typically both pumps will not stall at the same time so you never have your flow stop.

#4 Make sure you do not have any air leaks in your system. If the pump is sucking air from anywhere it will cause you to lose pressure. The best way to make sure that you do not have a leak is to use a water hose and force water from your tank down each hose with a water hose. Make sure the valves are open. Watch for leaks all the way down The system. Do that on each hose going to the Blend system.
Also do the same from the hose reel all the way to the blend system. The main thing you are checking there is the check valves for leaks.
# 5 always flush ur pump with at least 5 gallons of water at the end of each day to protect your pump.
#6 100psi pump pressure, more will damage pump. Adjust regulator on air compressor.

Also I have had this question On the roof king systems…
The twin pumps come with one screw holding each one on. That’s how flojet builds them. There isn’t even any threads to put another screw in it.
